Chief Financial Officer in Cyprus

On behalf of our client an established high tech company we are seeking to recruit an experienced CFO. 5 – 10 years working experience as a CFO is required for this position


Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for the internal and external financial accounting & reporting of the company.
Requires an individual whose business acumen, financial aptitude and professional initiative enable them to improve the organization’s performance and enhance the effectiveness of the individuals within.
Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization’s fiscal function and performance.
Ability to develop measurements & KPI’s
Has succeeded in a start-up environment
Lead/assisted fund raising activities
Ensure compliance with all regulatory compliance, specific knowledge of SEC compliance an advantage.

Coordinate and control external auditors
International Tax knowledge
Understand and support of all of the functional areas throughout the company, including accounting, information systems, purchasing, manufacturing, sales and customer service.
Participate in the development of the corporation’s plans and programs as a strategic partner.
Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action.
Develop credibility fort he finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends, in order to assist the Board and CEO in performing their responsibilities.
Participate in continual improvement of the budgeting process through education of department managers on financial issues impacting their budgets.
Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision -making issues affecting the organization; i.e., evaluation of potential alliances acquisitions and/or mergers and pension funds and investments.


      Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism
Be an advisor from the financial perspective on any contracts into which the corporation may enter.

Ensure quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements are completed accurately and timely in accordance with current regulations and/or guidelines.

Willing to travel abroad.

 Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and, MBA and/or CPA/CMA preferred
Needs to be committed to results and have a strong sense of personal responsibility for how the company performs.
Financial aptitude and analytical skills need to translate in to insightful corrective actions and proactive business improvement.
